Tokyo Olympics : Simone Biles out of individual all-around final


 On Thursday, American gymnast and four-time Olympic champion Simone Byers refused to participate in the absolute individual finals in Tokyo.

Byers is the most successful American gymnast of all time. She said that after being eliminated from the women's final on Tuesday, she needs to pay attention to her mental health.

The captain of the US Olympic team and his athletes praised Byers' decision to put his mental health first. She must defend her  title on Thursday, and then on Sunday . 

The US Gymnastics team said, "Simona will continue her daily screening to see if she will participate in the singles final next week."We I wholeheartedly support Simone's decision and praise her courage to put happiness first. 

Again, why is he a role model for many people?   Byers set his record for the lowest Olympic long jump in a single round before retiring from the team final. , retired from the arena, but returned to the arena to support his teammates when the defending champion won the silver for the Russian Olympic Committee.

Sarah Hirschland, executive director of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, stated that Byers “makes us very proud” and added, “We welcome her decision to put mental health first, and we immediately Provide full support and provide resources from the American community team on your progress along the way."
