Eight months after 'Baba Ka Dhaba' proprietor Kanta Prasad blamed YouTuber Gaurav Wasan for misusing cash that was raised to help him, an examination by Delhi Police uncovered that Wasan and his better half got Rs 4.5 lakh in their records and moved the cash to Prasad solely after he stopped a police protest. A charge sheet against Wasan is probably going to be documented in the coming days, as per a source in Delhi Police.

On Thursday night, 81-year-old Prasad supposedly was conceded to Safdarjung clinic in basic condition after purportedly endeavoring self-destruction. " We have conceded him to the ICU where specialists are noticing him. He is oblivious and is on a ventilator," said a clinic representative. "His better half-educated police that he had been discouraged throughout the previous few days," said a senior cop. 


On October 7 last year, Wasan had shot a video of Prasad and his better half discussing an absence of clients at their restaurant in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar. The video was shared generally, following which a few groups gave cash. However, Prasad later held up a bamboozling body of evidence against Wasan at Malviya Nagar police charging that he misused the cash. 


In November, Prasad had revealed to The Indian Express that he had just gotten a check of Rs 2 lakh from Wasan and guaranteed that individuals came distinctly to take selfies and his deals had not gotten because of the video. 


Police began their examination and found that Wasan had shared his record subtleties alongside his better half's via online media for the gift.

"Police tracked down that the couple got Rs 4.5 lakh, however, they gave the cash after Prasad held up an FIR against Wasan. Police had effectively addressed Wasan and recorded his assertion," an official said.
